Our team had the incredible opportunity to visit Creekstone Kettleworks, where we got a firsthand look at the art and business of gourmet popcorn.

Owner Colleen Weir shared her journey—starting from growing up on a farm that produced popcorn, to launching her own business in 2014. She emphasized the importance of mentorship, adapting to a better business model, and the power of word-of-mouth marketing.

From learning about the 4Ps of marketing to understanding how government regulations and pricing strategies impact a business, we walked away with valuable insights that apply to our own entrepreneurial journeys.

Oh, and of course—we got to experience the popcorn-making process ourselves!

Big thanks to Creekstone Kettleworks for hosting us! 🍿
